Biographical Information[edit]
Harry McChesney played 22 games at the end of the 1904 season, mostly in right field, for the Chicago Cubs who won 93 games that year. The regular rightfielder that year was Davy Jones, who hit .244 and was not on the team the following year. Jones would go on to greater fame with the Detroit Tigers. McChesney hit .261 but was not on the Cubs the following year, either, as Billy Maloney became the rightfielder, hitting .260.
