Biographical Information[edit]

A nephew of Gene Mauch, Harry Mauch played two years in the minor leagues. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 15th round of the 1978 amateur draft. That year, he was 1 for 14 with 3 walks for the Butte Copper Kings and was 0 for 1 with the Bellingham Mariners. In 1980, Harry was with the Medford A's and hit .164/~.307/.178 in 33 games. His .813 fielding percentage in the outfield was the lowest among people to play 10 games at the position in the Northwest League.
