Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Little was the first major leaguer born in Missouri but was not the first Missouri-born player to come to the big leagues. Although no one was born earlier than him (he was born in 1850), by the time he came to the majors in 1877, a number of other Missouri-born players had already arrived.
He was a year younger than Davy Force, his teammate on the 1877 St. Louis Brown Stockings.
HJe umpired one game in the American Association in 1884.
