Harry Salsinger, sometimes credited as H.G. Salsinger, was an American newspaper writer and editor. After two years in Cincinnati, Salsinger moved on to the Detroit News as sports editor. For the next 49 years, Salsinger was sports editor. He also covered the Tigers. He was a charter member of the BBWAA.
Harry Salsinger was awarded the J.G. Taylor Spink Award in 1968.
