Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Betts pitched one game in 1903 and then came back to the majors ten years later in 1913 to pitch one more game. Baseballlibrary.com states he was a "local college pitcher" in 1903 when he got a chance to start for the cellar-dwelling St. Louis Cardinals.
