Harrisburg Olympics
The Harrisburg Olympics played in the 1884 Eastern League, going 16-25 before folding July 4th. Based in Harrisburg, PA and managed by Robert Sturgeon, the club was led by the work of OF-P Ed Dailey, who hit .297 and went 5-0 with a 2.87 ERA; they were only 11-25 when another pitcher got the decision. OF John Reccius split the season with the Trenton Trentonians and overall put up a .280 average, .441 slugging percentage, 13 triples and 85 runs scored.
