Biographical Information[edit]
Doc Younker was a long-time trainer.
Younker was trainer for the Vancouver Capilanos (1954), Seattle Rainiers (1955), Vancouver Mounties (1956-?), Los Angeles Angels (1961-?) and San Diego Padres (1976-1985). He has also worked with Team Canada for the Olympics, Pan American Games, Baseball World Cup and Intercontinental Cup. He also has been a trainer for hockey and basketball teams and has been a teacher. In 2005, he was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
