Hao Chen is an outfielder in the China Baseball League. He was on China's roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. The teenager played two games as a backup in the Classic. He lined out as a pinch-hitter against Takahiro Mahara in game one and was a defensive sub in left in game 3 against South Korea, which he ended with a ground-out against Tae-hyon Chong.
