Hans Heyrman debuted in Belgium's First Division with the 2006 Hoboken Pioneers. The teenager hit .286 and slugged .397. In '07, he batted .394 and slugged .567 for the Brasschaat Braves. With the 2008 Braves, Heyrman hit only .223 but did slug 6 homers in 121 AB. He made the Belgian national team in the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers. He played one game as the backup 3B behind Dennis De Quint, going 2 for 2 with a walk in Belgium's 15-1 rout of Malta.

In 2009, Heyrman hit .356 and slugged .521 for Brasschaat, leading his club with 30 RBI.
