Biographical Information[edit]
Hank Thormahlen, also called Herb Thormahlen, pitched six seasons in the big leagues, winning 29 games, and also pitched 14 years in the minors, winning over 170 games.
He played for the Montreal Royals and Toronto Maple Leafs in the International League from 1928 to 1933.
His best year in the majors was with the New York Yankees in 1919, for whom he went 12-10 with an ERA that was in the top ten in the American League.
