Biographical Information[edit]
Han-joon Yoo has played several years in the Korea Baseball Organization. He was 1 for 9 with a walk for the South Korean national team in the 2002 Intercontinental Cup, backing up Bum-ho Lee at 3B. He was signed out of college by the Hyundai Unicorns. In 2005, he was 5 for 26 with two walks, a double and a home run. During 2006, Yoo hit .244/.331/.346 in 110 games and 246 AB. In 2007, he batted .223/.313/.330 with 35 RBI in 197 AB over 112 games. Yoo was with Korea in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, hitting .232/.350/.242 as their starting first baseman; he had the lowest slugging percentage of any Korean regular. He did not play in the KBO in 2008.
