Biographical Information[edit]
Hal "Lefty" Kime had a respectable 2.57 ERA in four games for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1920 (the team ERA was 3.43). Kime was at Ohio State University in 1920 and made his major league debut on June 19th.
He was one of five players at Ohio State in 1920 who would come to the majors eventually.
He played for New Haven in 1921.
The Bryan Times of July 29, 1968 states that Lefty Kime was a star in the early 1920s in what the article termed as the "Indiana-Ohio League."
