Biographical Information[edit]
Hak-su Jeong played in the KBO for 6 years.
Jeong joined the Lotte Giants when the KBO was founded in 1982, and he hit .274/.396/.368 with 18 doubles in that season. He led the league in walks, and he was 4th in doubles (between Dong-kyun Yun and Sung-han Kim). Jeong hit .279/.356/.359 in 1983, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He had a .271/.355/.331 batting line in 1986, then he played 67 games with a .239/.267/.330 batting line in 1987. Jeong only got 16 at-bats combined in the next two seasons, and he announced his retirement after the 1989 season.
Overall, Jeong hit .269/.356/.347 with 283 hits and 6 homers in 6 seasons in the KBO.
