Biographical Information[edit]
Gus Ketchum pitched for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1922. The only other major leaguer (through 2007) with the last name Ketchum, Fred Ketchum, also played for the Athletics, albeit 21 years earlier.
Ketchum pitched in one game for the 1923 St. Paul Saints who won 111 games. He was with Toledo in 1924.
He was an auto salesman after his baseball days.
