Biographical Information

Guillermo Valencia was president of the Colombian Baseball Federation from 1973-1982 and managed the Colombian national team in the 1979 Pan American Games. Away from baseball, he had even bigger accomplishments. He was a thoracic surgeon who was dean of the medical school at the Universidad de Cartagena and also served as Governor of Magdalena.
