Guido Pellacini

Guido Pellacini played and coached in Italy's Serie A.
He played baseball from 1955-1964. Not a star, he hit only .153/.215/.153 with 10 runs and 15 RBI in 30 games for Parma from 1960-1964 (1950s stats are unavailable online as of 2013) while fielding .844 in the outfield. He became a coach in 1966, reaching Serie A with Parma in 1969. He guided Parma to titles in 1969 and 1971 and won four more titles with them from 1981-1993. He was a coach for the Italian national team from 1965-1972, including Silver Medals in the 1969 European Championship and 1971 European Championship and an appearance in the 1971 Amateur World Series. He also worked with the French national team in 1986-1987, managing them in the 1986 European B-Level Championship.
