Biographical Information

Gualberto López was an infielder for the Puerto Rican national team. He played for Guaynabo in the Puerto Rican amateur league.

He hit .222/.300/.278 for Puerto Rico in the 1992 Olympics, with one RBI in five games. Splitting third with Manuel Serrano, he fielded .929 there; he also had one error in four chances at short, backing up Luis Ramos. He played for Puerto Rico when they won Bronze in the 1993 Central American and Caribbean Games as well.
