Biographical Information[edit]
Greg Sabat has been a minor league coach.
Sabat played professionally in Colombia and Venezuela as a pitcher. From 1982-1993, he managed in Italy, guiding Rimini to a title in 1988. He also pitched in 1984, going 6-6 with a 3.08 ERA for Castiglione della Pescaia. He was pitching coach and then interim head coach at St. John's University (1994-1996) and coached St. John's when they acted as Team USA in the 1995 Pan American Games. He also coached for the Naranjeros de Hermosillo in the 1988-1989 Mexican Pacific League.
Sabat was pitching coach for the GCL Tigers in 1997-2012, AZL Dodgers in 2013, Ogden Raptors in 2014, and AZL Dodgers in 2015-2017.
