Biographical Information

Starting pitcher Greg Ross has played in the Atlanta Braves minor league system since 2011 (through 2014). He was taken by the club in the 18th round of the 2011 amateur draft.

He had the first 10-win season of his professional career in 2013, going 10-6 with a 3.01 ERA in 30 games (19 starts) for the Rome Braves and Lynchburg Hillcats. In 2014, he earned a spot on the Carolina League Mid-Season All-Star team after going 5-3 with a 3.50 ERA in 15 games for the Hillcats to start the year. He later earned a promotion to the Double-A Mississippi Braves.
