Biographical Information[edit]
Grant Anderson reached the majors with the Texas Rangers during the 2023 season. He went 2-1, 5.05 in 26 games in relief, but did not appear in the postseason when the Rangers won the first World Series title in franchise history. He was back with the team in 2024 and had a particularly rough outing against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 11th. Taking over in the 6th inning with Texas already down, 7-0, he allowed a homer to Shohei Ohtani with a runner on base after one out, and then gave up three more gopher balls, to Freddie Freeman, Teoscar Hernandez and Jason Heyward, the latter two also good for two runs each, before giving way to Jesus Tinoco. The Rangers lost the game, 15-2.
