Glory Fades Away is a book by Jerry Lansche. Published in 1991, it covers the 19th century postseason, from the 1882 matches between the Cincinnati Red Stockings and Chicago White Stockings, through the World's Series (1884-1890), the 1892 split-season finale and then the Temple Cup (1894-1897).
