Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Glenn McMinn played in the minor leagues from 1951 to 1962. He began his career in the Brooklyn Dodgers system at 18 years old and he remained in their organization until 1958, after the team had become the Los Angeles Dodgers. He began 1959 in the San Francisco Giants' chain with the Phoenix Giants, then finished his career with the Portland Beavers from 1959 to 1962.

McMinn played at either the Triple A or Open levels each year from 1956 to 1962, winning as many as 14 games in a season at that level, but never reached the majors. His highest-season total for victories came in 1953, when he won 15 games between three clubs.

Overall, McMinn played in 434 games over 12 seasons, posting a record of about 85-87.
