Biographical Information[edit]
Gladwyn Scott is a member of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. He coached for Team Canada in the first tournament they ever played, the 1967 Pan American Games. His brother Glennis Scott was a pitcher on the team. He later was Vice President of Baseball Canada from 1986 to 1989. He was general manager for Canada when they won Bronze at the 1987 World Junior Championship. He was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008.
In addition to his work for the national team, he was a part-time scout for the Toronto Blue Jays (1987-1993) and Atlanta Braves (1994-2001)
