Giorgio Regazzi

• Died August 31, 1973

Giorgio Regazzi discovered baseball as a POW during World War II. He played in Italy's leagues in the country's early days and appeared on the Italian national team during its debut in 1952. In 1958, he coached for the national team. He later became a journalist and was enshrined in the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame for his work spreading baseball in Italy.
