Giorgi Jalabadze was Georgia's second-youngest player in the 2011 European Championship Qualifiers, having just turned 17. He was 0 for 11 with four errors in three games as their main third baseman. He also pitched one inning, allowing four hits, a walk and five runs (two earned). In their near-upset of pool-winning Great Britain, he came up with a 8-7 deficit in the 9th, one out and the bases loaded, but grounded out into a double play against Sam Whitehead.
