Biographical Information

Gerson Jiménez has played in the minors and for the Colombian national team.

He debuted with the DSL Diamondbacks in 2013, hitting .258/.385/.331 as a 1B/LF. In 2014, he batted .251/.375/.317 for the same team, drawing a team-high 38 walks in 63 games. In 2015, his third stint with the same team, he produced at a .285/.391/.378 clip with 39 walks and 38 runs, while fielding .992 at 1B. He was with the DSL Orioles 2 in 2016 and slumped to .229/.375/.288 with 35 more walks in 53 games. He had hit .258/.382/.332 with 139 walks and 109 runs in 237 games in the minors.

He played for Colombia in the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games.
