Biographical Information

Gerónimo Peña is the only pinch runner ever to hit a home run and steal a base in a game.

Pena and Brian Jordan were both born on March 29, 1967, both broke in with the St. Louis Cardinals, and were teammates on the Cardinals team for five years.

His son Jeremy Peña reached the majors with the Houston Astros in 2022.
