Geizaburo Okada is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.

Okada hit leadoff for Waseda Jitsugyo in the first Koshien Tournament, back in 1915. He was a two-way player in college. He then was head coach at Meiji University from 1923 to 1935.

When the Nagoya Golden Dolphins were formed in the new Japanese Professional Baseball League, Okada was their first manager. The club was 15-24-1 in 1936, 48-55-2 in 1937, 24-51 in 1938 and 36-56-4 in 1939. He also played the field on occasion despite being 40 years old when the league was formed. He was 1 for 1 in '37, hit .258/.378/.323 in the spring of 1938, .278/.316/.278 in the fall of 1938 and went 1 for 2 with a walk in 1939 for a career line of .288/.383/.327 in 24 games.

Later on, Okada was a baseball commentator. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1978.
