Biographical Information[edit]
Gene Lambert pitched five seasons 1939 to 1946, two in the Major Leagues and five in the minors, losing three years to the military.. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II (1943-1945) (N&C). He had two cups of coffee with the Philadelphia Blue Jays in 1941 and 1942. He died at age 78 and is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN.
