Biographical Information[edit]
Gayan Tharindu debuted for the Sri Lankan national team in the 2019 Asian Championship. The 25-year-old started at first base against Taiwan and struck out against Po-Yu Chen before being replaced by Subas Gunasiri. He had four putouts and no errors. It was his lone appearance that event; Kasthuri Mudali Naween Anuradha was their main man at first. [1]
Off the field, he has served in the Sri Lankan Army. [2]
