Biographical Information

Gary Wilhelm was taken by the Montréal Expos in the 55th round of the 1969 amateur draft; they were one of only two teams still picking that late, but as an expansion team taking part in a June draft for the first time, they were trying to fill out their minor league ranks. He went 5 for 16 with 3 walks, two whiffs, a run and two RBI for the GCL Expos. He had one chance in the outfield and registered a putout. He did not return in 1970.
