Biographical Information[edit]
Gary Scott was a big Chicago Cubs prospect at third base who floundered badly both times he was given the job out of spring training. He had one great shining moment, though. In one game at Wrigley Field, he fouled off numerous pitches in a row with 2 strikes on him and the bases loaded before finally connecting with one and hitting a grand slam.
Notable Achievements[edit]
- 1990 MVP Carolina League Winston-Salem Spirits
