Biographical Information

Garrett Wade was taken by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 38th round of the 2018 amateur draft, a few picks after pitcher Bryce Miller, but opted not to sign. Instead, he went to Auburn University from 2019 to 2022 and Jacksonville State University. He was 3-1 with a 5.76 ERA in 28 games (7 starts) in his college career. He had 56 strikeouts in 45 1/3 innings.
