The Fulton Bulldogs played one season, but it was a competitive one, taking them into the KITTY League finals, where they took the Owensboro Oilers a full 7 games before losing.

Fulton led the league with 971 runs scored despite not leading in average (.284, 3rd), home runs (64, 7th), steals (51, 7th) or walks (442, 7th). Tom Thomasson (13-6, 3.31) and Bob Schultz (19-10, 3.62) were the ace pitchers. Schultz, a future major leaguer, was in his first pro season and led the league with 361 strikeouts in 221 IP - but also led with 148 walks, 22 wild pitches and 29 hit batsmen.
