Biographical Information

According to a presentation given about him at the 36th annual Society for American Baseball Research convention in 2006, Freddy Leach voluntarily walked away from the game. He had talent, but did not actually enjoy playing the game, and preferred to farm potatoes in Idaho. His son was supposedly even more talented, but quit despite some interest in him from some major league clubs.
