Biographical Information

Fred O'Neill was born in London, ON and died there before the age of 30. He played briefly for the 1887 New York Metropolitans along with another player born in London, Jon Morrison.

Fred was nicknamed "Tip", presumably because of another Canadian player in the majors, Tip O'Neill, who had his best season in 1887.
