Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher/outfielder Fred Morris played in the minor leagues from 1911 to 1914, mostly for the Wichita Falls Irish Lads/Drillers. He led the Texas-Oklahoma League with 9 home runs in 1912. He managed the Wichita Falls Irish Lads in 1911, the Wichita Falls Drillers in 1912, the Drillers/Hugo Hugoites in 1913 and the Durant Gladiators in 1914.
His contract card says he played for a Dallas club in 1902, ostensibly the Dallas Griffins.[1]
