Fred Lewis (Britain)
Fred Lewis was a baseball coach and administrator from 1909-1960 in the British town of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. He made a lot of his own equipment for his players. He argued against professional baseball, feeling the game belonged on an amateur level to inspire a stronger work ethic. In 2010, he was inducted into the British Baseball Hall of Fame.
