Biographical Information

Franklin Gonzalez was a minor league outfielder for four years. He hit .260 for the 1995 DSL Cubs/Padres and .208 for the same club in '96. In 1997, he improved to .273/.314/.343 for the AZL Padres. He wrapped up in '98 by batting .276/.345/.395 with 7 steals in 8 tries for the AZL Padres, playing mostly DH.
