Biographical Information[edit]

Shortstop Frank Staucet played more than a decade in the minor leagues, despite missing several years while serving in the Navy during World War II. After attending Saint Joseph's College, where Gil Hodges was a teammate, he spent the majority of his pro career with the Albany Senators of the Eastern League. After his baseball days, he worked in the insurance industry. He died in 2016 at age 93.
