Biographical Information[edit]

Frank Pait has been a college coach.

He hit .400 with 17 homers as a senior at Wingate. He coached West Wilkes High School then returned to Wingate as assistant coach from 1994-1996. From 1997-2007, he was head coach of Lenoir-Rhyne University (he had previously been a graduate assistant coach there), winning 291 games and one South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year. He was the first head coach at Catawba Valley Community College, winning 147 games in four years as their head coach and taking them to the 2012 NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series. He later guided Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute, starting their baseball program in 2020 and taking them to the 2022 NJCAA Division III Baseball World Series.
