Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Leoni has been a college coach.
Leoni was a shortstop in college. He went 266-343-3 in 13 seasons as head coach of the University of Rhode Island (146-118-1 in his last five years). He set a school record with 35 wins in 2004. Moving to the College of William and Mary, he went 23-29 in 2006, 29-25 in 2007 and 36-21 in 2008, showing steady progress. He fell to 24-25 in 2009. After the 2012 season, Leoni resigned. He started the program at Marymount University in 2014. He moved to Mount St. Mary's University in 2022.
