Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Irons won the Gold Medal in the long jump in the 1908 Olympics, with the third-best mark to that point, and also won the high jump. In the 1912 Olympics, he was 1 for 2 as the US left fielder in the baseball exhibition and again competing in jumping events.
