Biographical Information[edit]
Frank Calacurcio played two seasons in the minor leagues. He hit .264/.372/.396 for the 1950 Muncie Reds. He scored 105 runs and had 9 triples and 79 walks, but also struck out 110 times (fourth in the Ohio-Indiana League). He fielded .935 at second base and his 43 errors were second among league second sackers. He saw less action in his other season, hitting .291 and slugging .457 for the Welch Miners and Kingsport Cherokees. He had batted .273 for his pro career.
