Biographical Information[edit]
2nd baseman Frank Borghi played for the Carthage Cardinals in the St. Louis Cardinals system in 1946, hitting .261 with 71 hits in 103 games. He also stole 10 bases and was 5th in the league (among 10 qualifiers) with a .933 fielding percentage. He was more famous as a soccer player, suiting up for the United States' national team as a goalkeeper in the 1950 FIFA World Cup.
