Francisco Avila (Mexico)
- Throws Left
Biographical Information[edit]
Francisco Avila pitched for the Mexican national team in the 1995 Pan American Games. In the 1995 Intercontinental Cup, he was one of two southpaws on Mexico's staff (alongside Jorge Coronado). His lone appearance in the Cup was a rough one; facing Gold Medal winner Japan, he lasted 2/3 of an inning in a start (6 H, 4 R) before Simon Quintero relieved in what would be a 13-0 loss.
