Fraley Rogers, born in Brooklyn, NY in 1850, played for the Brooklyn Stars in 1869 and 1870. He made his National Association debut in 1872, becoming the regular right fielder for the Boston Red Stockings, who won the pennant with a 39-8 record. He came back for only a couple more games, in July, 1873 with the Red Stockings, going 4-for-11.
