Team Bio[edit]
The Forest City Owls debuted in the Coastal Plain League in 2008. The franchise had previously played in Spartanburg, SC. The Owls won two straight Pettit Cup Championships in 2009 and 2010. Matt Hayes managed the Owls for their first four seasons. The 2009 team, which finished 46-9, was named Summer Collegiate Team of the Year by Perfect Game.
