The Florida Legends, based in Homestead, FL played in the Ladies Professional Baseball League in 1998, after relocating from Los Angeles, CA where they played as the Los Angeles Legends in the league's inaugural season in 1997. The league folded after just 16 games in 1998.
Bridget Wold-Satriano managed the Legends in 1998, the only female manager in the league.
