Florida is a municipality in Puerto Rico, about 20 miles west of San Juan. The population was listed as 12,367 in 2000. Bonifacio Aponte and Charlie Montoyo were born here. Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy and Juan Ponce de León High School are here.
